Jemma has been interested in photography for over 20 years. After her younger son was born she received so many requests for black and white baby and family portraits that she became a professional photographer. In 2004 Jemma did a two year photography course at City of Westminster College and also did a Photoshop course.

Having previously been a make up artist and hair stylist, these skills proved to be very useful for her portrait photography and Jemma got many jobs photographing actors and models.

Jemma has since been freelancing for various publications such as The Times, Red Magazine, The Grove, The Brent Magazine, Buzz Magazine and The Kensington and Chelsea Times. Jemma also does corporate work and private commissions. She is mainly interested in portrait photography but also enjoys photographing objects or designs for websites.
